I make things slowly, by hand, so you can use them forever.

Tell me what you love and I'll make it into something you'll carry every day, and never want to replace.

Have something in mind?

While I am continuing to develop my core collections - stitched inserts coming soon - I love bringing custom visions to life! Whether it's a specific colour combination, a unique design, or something completely outside the standard range, I would love to make it for you. If you have an idea, send me a message via my socials or the contact page and let's chat.

Pricing depends on the complexity and time involved.

Certified and traceable quality

Every hide I use comes from tanneries in the Genuine Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather Consortium, a group in Tuscany that's been perfecting this kind of leather for generations. It's the real, slow-tanned stuff, and it only gets better with age: it picks up the marks of your daily life and ends up with a character all its own.

Leather

I make refillable-style leather journal covers, also known as traveller's notebooks, for you to flexibly own your journal ecosystem. They are entirely customisable. And even when I work with similar colours or combinations, something always shifts in the making. A small decision here, a natural variation in the hide there. No two pieces ever come out the same, and I think that's what makes them worth keeping.

Journal Charms

I love books and I love art. These are personalised journal charms inspired by those interests. They are engraved, permanently. This collection will grow over time, as I am always thinking about what deserves its own lil charm.

A library card charm, inspired by the one I saw years ago in the NYPL gift shop and so this is for the book that lives rent-free in your head.

A gallery placard, like the labels next to artwork, but for your journal.

A note from a loved one to hold tangibly.

Clay

I make a lot of leather here, but pottery is my first hobby love, and I get to share a bit of it with you too. A mix of handbuilt and wheel-thrown earthenware, in small collections for your home and your art. Every piece has the kind of minor imperfections that remind you a real person made it, which is sort of the whole point.

#JournalTok

I love to see your unboxings, setups, decorations and especially how your piece patinates - genuinely froth over that stuff. Tag me @terraandsim on Tiktok or Instagram.
